Mount Isa Amateur Netball Association (MIANA) is a sporting association consisting of more than 650 active members, across eight clubs, with numbers increasing year on year.
As one of the leading sports in Mount Isa, MIANA strives to be an innovative and progressive association which fosters a safe and inclusive environment for all, regardless of age, gender, or background.
MIANA provides opportunities for people of all ages and abilities, including training of players and officials, fixture competitions, development workshops, and participation in representative tournaments. Members range from four years old to into their seventies.

Encourage participation and enjoyment in the sport of netball
Promote healthy competition, mutual respect and sportsmanship through love of the game
Improve the health, fitness and wellbeing of our local community
Encourage higher level pathways for players, umpires, coaches, assistant coaches and bench officials
